BBC Studios will be offering 11 x 12 month Assistant Producer contracts to experienced Researchers with potential to supercharge their careers. Training will be accelerated by providing best in class training with industry experts to ensure you gain the knowledge, and skills required to work in your chosen genre as Assistant Producers.

Join BBC Studios and become an Assistant Producer
The Assistant Producer Accelerator Programme is a paid 12 month fixed term contract with training offered by BBC Studios Production with a salary of £32000 + London Weighting (If applicable).
The programme is designed to take 11 skilled Researchers from across the industry, and will be a 12 month funded training programme within BBC Studios Production. The programme consists of a combination of bespoke training alongside practical on the job experience embedded within a genre for the year. Throughout the scheme there will be three training events per month, including workshops and masterclasses by industry leaders. By the end of the programme, you will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to continue your career as an experienced Assistant Producer.
In collaboration with BBC Studios and the Talent Manager, join us on a virtual one-hour information session on how to apply for this programme and how to ace the interviews. Hosted by Sarah Wood (director of BBC Studios' Assistant Producer Accelerator Programme), who will be joined by some of the current cohort from the Assistant Producer Accelerator Programme as well as BBC Talent Execs, this session will be your opportunity to ask the panel anything you want about the programme and application process.
