SMTJ (www.sharemytellyjob.com) exists to create and implement practical solutions to hiring and, crucially, retaining experienced, diverse industry talent. Founded and run by experienced TV professionals, we provide tangible support to help all TV and Film workers achieve a better work-life balance so they can sustain their careers and the industry retains vital talent.

SMTJ is a Community Interest Company and as such all the profits generated from our work are reinvested to enable us to deliver our vision to create a modern and sustainable UK Film and TV industry that’s fit for purpose - where talent from all backgrounds is welcomed, trusted and supported to flourish, creating content that speaks to and inspires everyone.

What we do:

We research: to reveal the root causes of the Film and TV industry’s current crisis.

We design and deliver: leadership and management training for employers and workers on flexible working and its integration into workplaces and healthy workplace culture.

We design and deliver: job-sharing placement programmes that pair, train, support, and monitor underrepresented talent, creating access to sustainable employment.

We connect and collaborate: working with organisations and individuals who want to transform Film and TV into a modern, professional industry.
