About Us

CTVC is an multi award-winning media company producing television, radio and new media content on social issues, current affairs, religion, ethics, history and education. Our aim is to get people thinking and talking. Above all CTVC are passionate believers in the power and importance of media to educate, challenge and inspire.

Also part of CTVC is the BAFTA winning TrueTube.co.uk, an innovative site with free resources for RE, PSHE and citizenship devoted to helping secondary school teachers to debate important social issues with their students.

CTVC have been in production for over twenty years and has amassed an impressive collection of awards and nominations so we must be doing something right!
Broadcasting across all networks, both in the UK and internationally, some recent programme credits include:

PILGRIMAGE: THE ROAD TO ROME (BBC Two)
All with differing beliefs and faiths, six famous faces choose to live as modern day pilgrims. Donning backpacks and walking boots and sleeping in shared dorms, they traverse the ancient 2000km Via Francigena, travelling over the Alps, through the vineyards of Tuscany and on to Rome, the home of the Roman Catholic Church.

PILGRIMAGE: THE ROAD TO SANTIAGO (BBC Two)
Neil Morrissey, Debbie McGee, Heather Small, Ed Byrne, Kate Bottley, Raphael Rowe and JJ Chalmers embark on a journey they'll never forget: they're going to walk the Camino de Santiago. Will this experience broaden their horizons and answer the question of whether a medieval pilgrimage has any relevance with these very 21st century pilgrims?
