Truly a privilege to work as a Shooting AP on Windrush: Portraits of a Generation for BBC Two, especially as someone with grandparents who came to Britain part of that generation. We were honoured to hear the stories from that important group as they spoke frankly about their lives and experiences since arriving in Britain.

I casted all 4 stories for The Repair Shop: Windrush Special. As someone with black South African and New Zealand heritage, this project resonated with me and speaking to the contributors brought up tears, smiles, goose bumps, and everything in between. With all that's going on in the UK regarding the Windrush Scandal - even this week - It is incredibly important to create content that allows us to dive into underrepresented/overlooked areas of history.
