I have worked with Matt on multiple factual entertainment series over the past 8 years for ITV, Channel 4 & Sky. He’s extremely creative, shoots beautiful imagery, but is also fast & never faffs (as many operators often do!). His coverage of actuality is rock solid, and I can always rely on him to capture all the drama brilliantly as it unfolds. His knowledge of cameras, lenses & various toys and gizmos is great. Matt always enjoys the cinematic briefs of our shows we’ve worked on together, and he always delivers. Oh, and he’s great fun to work with too. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough to be honest! I’ve had the pleasure of working with Matt on documentary programming for over 6 years. He has one of the most creative eyes I’ve ever witnessed and his footage is a joy to work with in the edit suite. His multi-skilled approach allows him to easily switch between shooting solid, doco style actuality one minute and beautiful, textured cinematic frames the next. Some of the projects he’s shot have covered extremely sensitive subject matter but his calm perception ensures we always get the best out of contributors and interviewees.
