I have nearly 25 years’ experience running a vast range of unscripted content for all the major channels.  From creating a first series, devising a format and working out the editorial scope, to running well established projects and breathing new life in to tired formats, I am incredibly versatile and creative. 

Whatever the show I am a strong story teller and I have a keen interest in character-led narratives. I am well versed in running all aspects of production from pre-production to final delivery and have hands on experience devising narrative threads that arc across individual eps as well as a series as a whole. 

A great communicator and someone who is incredibly organized I am adept at managing the intricacies of budgets and schedules – particularly when there is never quite enough of either – successfully delivering projects on time and (often under) budget. 

My work is typified by a close attention to detail and care which comes in useful when filming in sensitive situations or with access-based projects within various institutions. An experienced manager of people having handled tricky situations with care and kindness I run a tight team and am used to dealing with PDs and staff both before the shoot and in the field to ensure the content is delivered. I pride myself on the close team relationships I foster. 

I have many years experience in the edit having worked direct in the suite on first eps for new formats to set the tone and style as well as overseeing multiple suites (I think 13 simultaneous edits is my record) in a more managerial capacity. 

I am collaborative, creative and used to working with high profile talent as well as contributors from all walks of life.  I am also used to dealing with commissioners and the vagaries of channels. Read Less
