A creative, adaptable and hard working Series Director, Shooting PD & Edit Producer with 15 years experience in specialist factual, factual entertainment and daytime television.

I have expertise across a wide variety of genres, covering subjects from fishing, food and farming to history, engineering and sensitive access documentaries in medical, educational and mental health institutions.

As a self shooting PD I have taken responsibility for entire programmes, including first series, taking them through from shooting script to the edit. I love telling stories and am always looking for the best way to create an engaging narrative and visually impactful television.

I'm experienced in scripting, shooting and producing formatted factual content as well as capturing and covering stories in an observational style - reacting to changing conditions as they unfold and following the action as it happens. I have worked with a vast range of contributors and talent - building and maintaining successful working relationships to get the best out of both experienced talent and those who have never been on screen before.

As an edit producer I have an eye for engaging narrative and am an adaptable and creative writer. I enjoy the editing process, crafting story, script writing and working to viewing and delivery deadlines. I have written for both UK and US audiences and understand the different writing styles required. I'm very self motivated and capable of working effectively and efficiently remotely as well as on location and in the office/edit suite.

I have successfully job shared both PD and EP roles. Working in this capacity has been extremely rewarding for the productions and for my job share partners and me. It enables a greater flexibility and with more heads in the game we've produced fantastic programmes with efficiency and creativity.

As a series Director I have overseen specialist factual history, daytime and large scale fact ent series and have recently earned my first credit as a Series Producer.
