Much of the raw emotional power of The Road to Auschwitz comes of course from Sir Simon, but also the long term trust that has developed between him and his frequent directing collaborator, @HugoMacgregor. This is one of those projects that will never quite leave you. I learnt a lot about myself and the psychology of traumatic content in the course of a production like this, & that will inform the way I work and manage teams in these scenarios.TV is thankfully beginning to address these matters.

Great to see The Road to Auschwitz featured on TM Must Watch list. Brilliant to collaborate with @HugoMacgregor and Sir Simon Schama again on this, and all the more so to see the response after TX. Thanks to @JyotiMehta @VenitaSingh-Warner and @GabrielKizilbash for all your support on this production, and all at Oxford Films. It was a troubling subject matter to confront day after day in the cutting room, but an important story to tell and a special project to be part of. Thanks to all involved.
