Doug has scored more than 300 episodes of various ANGRY BIRDS internationally distributed animation series, as well as music for the phenomenally popular ANGRY BIRDS SEASONS game. Strange but true; he plays guitar in the ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE, accompanying Peter "Tyrion Lannister" Dinklage, Jason "Ted Lasso" Sudeikis and Josh "Olaf the Snowman" Gad singing The Mighty Eagle song! Other recent animation series include STORIES FROM BACKWOODS (13x11’) for RTE/YLE, MOMOLU (78x7’) for ITVX and ROYALS NEXT DOOR (52x11’) for RTE2 and YLE.
He has also written music for promos for JOHN LEWIS, L'OREAL, NOKIA, ROVIO and MOOMINS as well as music for Angry Birds tie ups with STAR WARS, LEGO, TRANSFORMERS and SHAKIRA.
Doug is a member of PRS, IVORS ACADEMY and TEOSTO. He is also a tutor for Thinkspace Education, an online film scoring school run by Guy Michelmore, delivering Master's degree programmes for Arts University Bournemouth. He served on the BRITISH ANIMATION AWARDS jury for Original Music in 2020 and 2024. He is published by peermusic Accorder.
