@BecsHall Hello! I’ve been freelancing mostly creating promotional videos for events and music artists. My true passion is in telling real life stories so I’ve started producing documentaries. I’m actively trying to get into the industry and I’m wondering what advice you have for someone who doesn’t have experience in a particular role in the industry? At the moment I have experience in producing, directing, filming, & editing my own films, but I really want to build on my skills in the industry

@BecsHall I'd like to know where these Northern jobs are advertised as in the past year i've travelled to derbyshire, london, devon, birmingham, north wales but not really seen any northern sound work apart from a few dailies on The Rising 2nd Unit.

Evening. Having previously worked as a Grip on TV dramas and feature films after university, I’m currently working as an account manager outside of the industry and looking to hit the rest button on my career and aim to pursue a career in production. Do you have any advise for someone in my position who has experience in the industry but now wants to go in a different direction? Im sure there’s transferable skills but getting that across via an application or CV can prove difficult.
