Senior television editorial leader with more than 25 years’ experience across production and commissioning, including senior roles at the BBC and leading independent production companies.
A BAFTA-nominated Executive Producer and former BBC Commissioning Executive, I’ve worked across factual entertainment, documentaries and major returning formats, overseeing large productions and shaping programmes from first idea through to long-running success.
Productions rely on me when they need ambition, clarity and proper editorial spine. I'm the Exec who can reshape a heritage format, build a brand-new series from the ground up, or navigate the politics of casting, contributors and commissioners with equal ease. I’m known for spotting exactly what a show needs - whether that’s a bold reinvention, a subtle tweak or a total change of gear - and for leading teams in a way that makes complex productions run calmly and effectively.
As a Creative Director I’ve developed ideas from scratch and taken them through to commission and recommission. As an Executive Producer I’ve overseen major productions, often delivering complex shoots on time and on budget. As a Commissioning Executive I looked after some of the BBC’s most recognisable heritage brands.
I come with strong references at senior level across television production and commissioning.
