I’m a highly skilled Development Exec with 18 years of industry experience in both developments and on a broad range of productions. I was a Development Exec Supersizer in 2021.

I live and breathe ideas. I read overnights and the Radio Times religiously and I pay close attention to audience research. I am engaging and charismatic when pitching ideas and I have strong relationships with commissioners and leaders throughout the TV community, especially outside the M25.

I am an effective manager and have led the development teams at Boom Cymru and Multistory North. I am an ideas generator who thrives in brainstorms and creates an engaging atmosphere for staff to bounce ideas. I have a good eye for pitch design with proficiency on both Canva and Photoshop. I’m also an experienced self-shooter.

Outside of TV I am a musical stand-up comedian. I enjoy craft, cooking, hiking and I’ve been learning to speak Japanese for the last three years.

Why Now?
I returned to Manchester during lockdown and have worked in senior development roles at Multistory and True North. Throughout that time, I have expanded development teams, nurturing new talent within the field. I contributed to Multistory’s most recent big commissions as well as winning funded development and producing a pilot. At True North I won a big BBC Tender and a Sky Special during a difficult commissioning period.

With my colleague Fabian I run a network for TV development in the north. I have also been a judge at the broadcast awards for the past two years and RTS North West for 2023.
