Thanks so much to all of you for the beta testing so far. It’s really phenomenally useful.

This week we are keen to know how you’ve found the freelancer and company suggestions. Out of the 12 you were presented with in the registration process, how many did you recognise - both in the freelancer AND company suggestions? And how do the dashboard recommendations compare?

Hi Sarah there were 8 freelancers I recognised and the company suggestions were accurate. Are the freelancer suggestions meant to match my job role as they were different?

I recognised about 5 or 6 of the suggestions for the freelancers and companies. The freelancer suggestions in terms of their role are fairly accurate as they have similar roles to my own, however when I click 'load more' it seems the same set of freelancers are recycled. The same goes for companies.

@Craig Ellis @Samuel Butler we are on the case with fixing the issue with the refreshing. The criteria for freelancer suggestions is "1) people with project/credit, same job role and same time 2) people with same project/credit, at same time 3) people in same company at same time 4) people in same company with six months window before hand 5) people in same job role as you"

The f lancer suggestions shuffle after 2page loads. The companies one shuffles after 10 page loads Co suggestions based on 1) 3 or however many companies youve added 2) show any cos which have job advertised in your role and 3) any companies that have jobs advertised in last month and 4)the latest companies that join the site 5) logic anomaly.- latest pro companies to join the site

company suggestions seem good, the freelance suggestions seem quite random - many job title and mixture of people I know and don't know. Not sure why these particular freelancers are being served to me.

Hey Sarah, only recognised 2/3 freelancers, however company suggestions were much more on point.

@SarahLee The initial first login suggestion didn't pull up many familiar faces. I'm afraid I don't remember the names of who I did recognise. That said the current Freelancer Suggestions tab (profile left) is now bringing up all sorts of connections who I've worked with in the past. Still quite a few I don't recognise, but that's no issue tbf.

Hi ya! I just went through registration process and didn't recognize any freelancers as I'm new to industry however I recognized 3 companies in the suggestion list.

I've just joined this so not sure if you still need/want comments on this. All of the companies shown to me were companies I've worked for or have applied for jobs at, so that makes sense. I didn't know any of the freelancers suggested to me, though. I guess they were recommended because of having a similar level/role as me.

Freelancer suggestions seemed a bit random and I thought hss as of the companies were relevant to me but not all - unless I need to diversify!

I recognised about half. The rest seemed a bit random to be honest. A variety of job descriptions, not sure how they were relevant to me. I then glossed over and moved on. Maybe a hint as to why they've been selected for you would help
