I’m a Series Producer/Senior Producer with experience of developing, producing and edit producing Broadcast, Live Events and Branded Content programs/projects. Throughout my career I have worked on a range of genres and have the experience of being employed in variety of editorial roles. This experience I can draw upon when Series Producing a series.
In TV Broadcast, my career to date has forked into three paths: Development Producer, Game/Task Producer and Edit/Story Producer. All of which come together when Series Producing a show.
Development: Through my career I have flipped between production and development. I am usually brought in to turn a topline into a working proof of concept, pilot, sizzle or run thru. But over the years have been embedded in a number of development teams where I have run brainstorms, produced snazzy decks and pitched to commissioners. Recently I have been brought in to help format reality series, international formats and big branded content concepts. Having years of experience of creating series and content that resonates, keeps an audience hooked and works globally is a strength of mine.
Games/Task/Quiz: I started my TV career producing games, tasks and quizzes. I am an ideas person, that has developed new quiz ideas from scratch. And then taken them from the initial development stages right through to the final edit. I am proud of a large range of tasks and challenges I have brought to TV screens. And I have the skills to make that idea or show a reality. I have produced a wide range of tasks from epic stunts challenges, to brain busting puzzles, to live song and dance numbers, to fun reality-based shows and more. Examples of these are: You Bet!, Inside: The Sidemen, I'm a Celeb South Africa for ITV, Ant and Dec Saturday Night Takeaway for ITV, The Apprentice for BBC, The Courtship for NBC Universal, Dara O'Briain's Family Brain Games for BBC2, Britain's Best Junior Doctors hosted by Jo Brand for BBC2, A Right Royal Quiz hosted by Fern Britton for ITV.
Edit/Story: I have edit produced a number of reality and entertainment series including I'm A Celeb South Africa, Dara O'Briain's Family Brain Games for BBC2, Britain's Best Junior Doctors for BBC2, A Right Royal Quiz. Going from the entertainment end of the spectrum to the factual end. I have edit produced a number of blue light and access documentaries. These are high story turn over shows where I have to scour the rushes to find the gold amongst them. Then through narration and/or interview make the story understandable, dramatic and engaging. Examples are The Force:Essex and The Force:North East for Sky One, Traffic Cops for Channel 5, Sewermen for Channel 5.
Branded Content - I've produced branded content for a number of brands. Such as Primark's social media channels. This involved producing the creative and running the project from developed to the shoot. The successful shoot launched the Grinch range in Primark and was viewed millions of times. I've produced branded collaborations with brands such as Disney and Adidas working with Soccer Aid to produce a mixture of branded content entertainment films working with the A-list celebrities and sporting stars. I have also developed a format for Red Bull's Ibiza Royale which saw content creators create obstacle course for willing pairs to race through.
Live Events - I have produced Live Sports events for capacity stadium audiences for the PFL & Bellator Mixed Martial Arts Leagues. These events involved me travelling to Dubai, Riyadh, Paris, Dublin, Lyon and Belfast where I ran the live stadium entertainment. The skills required to create this live entertainment were live gallery producing, talent producing, creating scripts, running orders, managing graphics and music elements as well as being able to produce shows in different languages. I also worked with DJ's to create set lists and walk out tracks for the events.
I have also lead a team in the gallery to produce live in-game screen content for Kings League MENA. For this role I worked with operators, graphic designers and the client to execute live in game graphics. These graphic and game elements affected the game play and had to be executed precisely.
I feel I have a full and varied career showing I can throw my hand to most things and will be an asset to any team.
