It felt special from the get go… and after 18mths, it’s finally come to air on BBC One and iPlayer. The series sees Natalie head back to college to do a Level 3 in Health & Social Care. She was motivated by her personal experiences of taking her Dad through end of life care and the support she had from professional carer, Linda. Across the eight episodes we see her learn about various areas of care alongside a class of teenage heath care students… before spending time on placements in various care settings; from a Children’s Type 1 Diabetes Clinic and Community Nursing Team to an Autism Family Support Group, Dementia Unit and Hospice… we also see her spend time with home carer, Gary, and his partner Lisa who is living with MS.

I think it would be hard not to find at least one episode that resonates. The icing on the cake was having the BBC create a Moment around it with ‘Caring Matters’ last week… all eight episodes are available now to watch on iPlayer.

A truly smashing team made this happen… tagging the ones on TM 🥰 - @EmmaJones @ReannonLicorish @DeniseFogarty @JenniferPatterson @PaulaCampion Skerry @ColinBloomer @JohnLennox @ShaunaLuckie @MuireannMcGinty @GeorgiaParkinson @GemmaBagshaw @NikkiShaw @CarlBest @Jan-PaulBednarz
