Most of my experience over the years has been on sensitive observational and institutional access documentaries. My last project was BBC2’s ‘Inside Our Autistic Minds’ - a 2 X 60’ series about the adult autistic experience, featuring Chris Packham. Both episodes are up on BBC iPlayer.• One to Watch 2017 - 2018 (Selected, from over four hundred applicants, as one of thirty rising stars in the TV industry)
• In 2018 I directed the first series of award-winning and re-commissioned documentary series 'Emma Willis: Delivering Babies'
• Worked on the first series of many re-commissioned and channel defining documentaries (Emma Willis: Delivering Babies, W Channel; 24 Hours in A&E and The Secret Life of the Zoo, Channel 4; Amazing Hotels: Life Beyond the Lobby, BBC2; and My Violent Child, Channel 5)
• I have taken six hours of primetime television through the edit (Inside Our Autistic Minds, BBC2; Emma Willis: Delivering Babies, W Channel; A Very British Airline, BBC2; Britain’s Cocaine Epidemic and Student Sex Workers, Channel 5; and Swipe Right for Murder, Really Channel)

• Experience of recording and monitoring sound on four channels.
• Experience of remote directing (Investigation Discovery’s High-Speed Chase - Working title)
• Confident directing talent, including talent new to documentary-making - I have worked with Chris Packham (Inside Our Autistic Minds, BBC2); Emma Willis (Emma Willis: Delivering Babies, W Channel); Giles Coren & Monica Galetti (Amazing Hotels: Life Beyond the Lobby, BBC2); Adam Deacon (Can We Trust the Police? BBC3); YouTube personalities ClickForTaz (YouTube Creator Spotlight, YouTube) & Claira Hermet (I Love My Boobs But They Have To Go, The Guardian); and Blogger Rae Duke (What Should I Believe In? Channel 4 Shorts)
• Skilled at managing delicate access, and contributor relationships; both over a long period of time, and on the spot.
• Confident handling complex compliance and legal issues.
• Funded development experience.
• Experience of long, mid and short-form programme making.
• Mental Health First Aid trained.
• Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (Pfizer)
• Experience working under Covid-19 filming restrictions and production protocols, and have completed ScreenSkills' 'Coronavirus Basic Awareness on Production' training. While I am a strong and creative self-shooter, having consistently shot since my days as a Production Assistant, one of my greatest strengths is my ability to build solid relationships with contributors and maintain trust and access in difficult situations - I have filmed with people at the end of their lives (24 Hours in A&E, Channel 4 & The Butcher Surgeon: Why Wasn’t He Stopped, Channel 5) and at the start (One Born Every Minute, Channel 4 & Emma Willis Delivering Babies, W Channel); with a murder investigation team (The Met: Policing London, BBC1); with parents being abused by their own children (My Violent Child, Channel 5); with school kid and female drug dealers (Britain’s Cocaine Epidemic, Channel 5); and with university students working in the sex industry to help fund their education (Student Sex Workers, Channel 5)
