Are companies still trying to use the holiday pay rate of 10.77% in people's experience? Bectu and ACAS both saying 12.07%.

So you get your agreed rate.. yet a company holds onto a portion of it till end of contract so they can call it ‘holiday pay’.
While the initiative probably comes from a good place.. like everything..it just gets gamed.
I’d rather loose the concept of holiday pay and just get my full rate without the sham deductions that get paid at the end. I’ve also had some occasions where the holiday pay didn’t add up to the deductions from my monthly rate.
Unneeded complications.
