So you get your agreed rate.. yet a company holds onto a portion of it till end of contract so they can call it ‘holiday pay’.
While the initiative probably comes from a good place.. like everything..it just gets gamed.
I’d rather loose the concept of holiday pay and just get my full rate without the sham deductions that get paid at the end. I’ve also had some occasions where the holiday pay didn’t add up to the deductions from my monthly rate.
Unneeded complications.

@NickNorton Holiday Pay accrues on a days worked basis. You should add the holiday pay portion to each invoice throughout production to avoid having to wait to be paid it at the end of your contract. That way you know what rate they’re using and you are quite legitimately charging HP as it accrues. Hope that works better for you.
