Studio Lambert is beefing up its creative team with the signing of Remarkable exec Stepen Lovelock and a promotion for executive producer Toni Ireland.

Lovelock, who exec produced BBC1’s Survivor and ITV1’s Deal or No Deal reboot for Remarkable, joins as executive producer in Studio Lambert’s unscripted division.

His other credits include BBC1’s Pointless, Channel 4’s The Jump and ITV1’s The Wall, Soccer Aid, The Cube and I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!.

Studio Lambert is on a roll in the genre, with shows such as BBC1 The Traitors [pictured] and Race Across the World, Netflix’s Squid Game: The Challenge (a co-pro with ITV Studios label The Garden) and Channel 4’s Gogglebox and The Inheritance.

Meanwhile, Ireland becomes deputy creative director at the All3Media company. She previously produced the first two series of both the UK and US versions of The Traitors and was showrunner on Squid Game: the Challenge.

Ireland joined in 2018 as executive producer of C4 format The Circle, which Studio Lambert subsequently adapted for the US for Netflix.

“As our business continues to grow, the need for outstanding senior talent becomes ever more important,” said Studio Lambert chief creative officer Tim Harcourt.

“Toni has consistently proven herself to be a brilliant editorial leader since joining us seven years ago [and] Stephen is second to none at crafting clever and compelling formats and to have him join the team is a real boost to our creative firepower. I can’t wait to see the impact they’ll both have on our next wave of shows.”
