How to deal with a work gap at Christmas?

Added 4 years ago

I was wondering if anyone had any advice on keeping proactive within the industry over the Xmas period, I've just finished a job during which I couldn't find the time to start looking for the next and at the moment I am looking hard but I've heard about a so-called 'work drought' over Xmas. Does anyone have any advice on how to manage it?Thanks!

Depends on where you are, but the hospitality sector is struggling to recruit in places. Pay isn't great, but its working with people and a great opportunity to flex transferable skills.
