Having taken this project through from pre-production through into production, I am extremely pleased to announce that Wild Side of the Moon has been nominated for Best Limited Series at Jackson Wild.

I remember taking this project on and thinking about how complex and tricky it would be to film an entire series about how the moon affects wildlife across the world, especially as we were adamant that the series should not be filmed entirely at night (not to say we didn't use cutting edge night filming technology). In addition, it was part of my role to set up a shoot chasing a solar eclipse across the entire North American continent to see how animals would react, with little research available to check behaviour, only one opportunity to get it right and of course battling the weather, I think we did a pretty good job.

A lot of hard work went into this series, with a great team both in the office and out on location, I think we really made something special.

So, if you haven't watched already - I'd recommend viewing it now, especially after our (almost) eclipse last week.
