I am an Assistant Producer/Field Director with over 10 years experience across production and development within Facutal and Specialist Factual.

I have a broad skillset that can be transferred across numerous subjects within factual television.

I have filmed in numerous countries and conditions filming a broad variety of subjects for numerous production companies and broadcasters. I have experience in setting up and directing complex international shoots with varying crew sizes, utilizing new and exciting equipment which can visually elevate sequences.

I have worked across a variety of different locations and environments throughout my career, both at home and internationally. I have specific experience working in the forests and mountains of the Pacific Northwest of America, the deserts of the Middle East, remote islands in Southern Africa, the Norwegian arctic and the coast of Central Africa.

I have proven experience in fostering great relationships with people from numerous backgrounds working with them as contributors or to gain access. I have with identical twins to test various health hypotheses, worked with native tribes in the pacifc Northwest of Canada to gain access to various filming sites, working with scientists and experts across the globe to present their findings to camera and working with a multutude of NGOs and conservation charities to speak about their work and allow filming in restricted areas.

I am able to film using a variety of equipment and have completed a course in self-shooting using an FS7. I have previous experience shooting for broadcast, including selfshooting entire sequences where I have been the sole shooter. I am also able to set up lighting for interviews as well as rig go-pros. I have experience in gripping for jibs, dollies and steady-cams often under difficult environmental conditions. Previously I have been responsible for offloads, rough assemblies and cutting together dailies/shorts for export to commissioners.

Within specialist factual I have been integral in assisting to produce shows and series ranging from Palaeontology, Microbiology and Medicine. I have worked with high profile talent both on and off screen as well as communicating with world leading experts about a variety of subjects to uncover ground breaking science and research for both hard hitting science (looking at antibiotic resistant bacteria and the dangers it can cause, as well as discovering microbes by reading mRNA samples from swabs) as well as the more popular science aspects (what colour would a velociraptor be, how much bacteria is transferred through kissing and if it's possible to meditate through a tattoo in an incredibly painful area).

I have also worked with a large variety of subjects within Natural History ranging from Alaskan Grizzly Bears down to Rough Skinned Newts, Bald Eagles to Cape Gannets and even Leatherbacks to tadpoles. I have experience with Macro in the field and in studio, long lens, ropes access, underwater, FPV drone, low light and thermal filming. I have been fortunate enough to work with some new and intriguing technologies and operators that have allowed me to produce visually stunning imagery that can elevate already powerful sequences.
