Met some good people at the MPTS event at Olympia yesterday, including Matt from TM who listened to my frustrations about some employers on TM not reading, never mind responding to applications.
A welcome plea was made at the 'Surviving the freelance squeeze' session by James Taylor- Tovey from Action for Freelancers who said media professionals should not be recruited via closed WhatsApp and Facebook groups.
