Introducing Jason Ratcliffe The Wellbeing Surveyor
Hello everyone, I am Jason Ratcliffe, a RICS building surveyor, environmental health researcher, and founder of The Wellbeing Surveyor. My work explores how the places we live influence our health, mood, and wellbeing through the science of air quality, materials, light, and thermal comfort.
I am currently collaborating with NASA’s Health and Air Quality Applied Sciences Team and the United Kingdom Met Office to develop new research connecting indoor and outdoor air chemistry. Alongside this, I lead a series of public engagement programmes including the Healthy Home Expo, the Wellbeing Surveyor Comic Project, and the Wellbeing Surveyor Drop In Clinics, all focused on making environmental science accessible to everyone.
My mission is simple yet urgent to help people see their homes not just as buildings, but as living environments that shape who we are and how we feel.
I am excited to join this platform and to collaborate on projects that bring science, design, and storytelling together to create healthier, more human homes.
