Eighteen months ago I pitched an idea for a doc. It was about one of the biggest unresolved scandals in British history, a huge social justice story revealing the harm caused to servicemen and Aboriginal people by Britain's nuclear tests, and a decades long cover-up by the MoD. BBC2 commissioned the project and we made a feature doc with the talented team at Hardcash Productions. Today we heard some exciting news! ‘Britain’s Nuclear Bomb Scandal: Our Story’ has been longlisted in the The Grierson Trust documentary awards.
