@JulianThomas I was at an @rts event the other day on the outlook for the year ahead. Depressingly not one of the key speakers from the broadcasters or super Indies talked about the plight of freelancers or what they can/ are doing to support them better.

@JulianThomas I had an interesting email response from a PM at a large TV company and he said "We’re going to be busy through 2025, and I’m hopeful about 2026". So that brightened up my day. That said it's still dusty streets in the long and short form arenas - Corporate is sparse with highly changeable dates with zero recourse and TV work is just too hard to get if you dont have the contacts already - fair enough i guess but still difficult.
