A great way to end 2024 for this Shooting PD & Edit Producer!
Picture locked on my first ever long form edit last week, for a new specialist factual series - huge s/o to both my lovely editor's for being dreams to work with! It's the first of many commissions that will air for @Orchard Studios in 2025 - thanks for trusting me!
This time last year, I was feeling happy for all the experience I'd gained up to that point but, beginning to feel somewhat demoralised and boxed in by the limited expectations / opportunity. I was really ready to tackle some new experiences and challenges!
Cut to this year:
PD on obs doc / reality character-led hospital series - had never filmed in a hospital before but, it was something I was keenly and actively seeking to do - loved it! @Firecracker Films (@Tinopolis)
PD on long running children's science television series - had never even considered children's TV tbh and, it turned out to be the best team I've worked with and, the kids were so heart warming! @Objective Media Group
PD & Edit Producer on presenter-led specialist fact ent series - I'd been itching to get more juicy edit experience and, this was a truck load! Loved it and felt so supported!
