Riots across the country. Appalling racism. British muslims under attack by British fascist thugs. Our police over stretched and ineffective. Our prisons full. The NHS on its knees. Crumbling schools. Civil society and our democracy under attack from malign actors overseas and now from within. Where are the films investigating and exposing all this - and excoriating the previous Tory govts for their corruption, gross incompetence, for fanning the flames of race hatred (Rishi Sunak, Suella Braverman, Priti Patel, et al) and destroying our country? Or do we just make ballroom dance shows, reality and yet more true crime these days? British broadcasters and commissioners need to wake up and do their jobs. Before it's too late...
