Our featured Pro Member this month is @JoeLajszczuk, Assistant Producer.

Joe is a Yorkshire-based assistant producer whose experience is across factual, specialist factual, digital fact-ent and development programmes. Joe realised he wanted to work in TV after completing a two week work experience placement when he was 18. He still went on to study History and Politics at uni but came back to TV afterwards after being hired as a Junior Researcher.

Joe gives some great insights into what it's like to be an AP and how important it is to get a good grounding as a researcher before making that next move up. He also shares his advice on how to be the best AP you can be - by getting training not just in camera skills and the edit, but also to show an interest in helping with budgets, schedules, call sheets and risk assessments.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Joe! You can read his interview by clicking on the link below.
