Yorkshire-based Digital Producer with credits for Channel 4 News, BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Discovery, Smithsonian and National Geographic, with experience across factual, news/current affairs, specialist factual, digital fact-ent and development. 

I'm a confident shooter with experience shooting actuality and interviews, as well as in breaking news environements. I have a strong editorial brain and I know how to find, research and deliver top quality stories. I've often worked as part of a small team where the onus is on me to find contributors, research stories, set up shoots, wrangle data and quite often edit-produce the results into a brilliant piece of content. 

I have extensive experience setting up shoots both in the UK and internationally in countries including the US, Germany, China, Tanzania, Kenya, Papua New Guinea, Nepal, Greece, Switzerland and Indonesia. I’m used to being on location, supporting my PD and working with talent.

I’ve also taken the lead on different roles in productions, including researching, acquiring and clearing archive for different history shows. I’ve been in charge of managing large volumes of archive, dealing with any last minute requests and managing final declarations and post-production paperwork.

Away from editorial, I’ve also undertaken production co-ordinating roles with experience producing  detailed call sheets, risk assessments and post-production deliverables. I’ve also created production budgets and schedules to deliver to commissioners under tight deadlines. Read Less
