I've enjoyed a number of stints in Development during my time as staff at BBC Wales / BBC Studios Fact Ent and am familiar with the process, from initial idea generation (which I like to think I'm good at) and creating decks to filming and editing sizzles and pitching the concept face to face. I have won a number of commissions including 'From Auschwitz with Love' (30 min doc for BBC Wales & BBC1), 'Wales on The One Show' (7 x 30 mins for BBC Wales), and numerous films for The One Show (BBC1). I'm including an example of my format idea 'Office Rock', which was commissioned by The One Show (6 x 4 mins 30 secs) from my proposal. In these 2-part films, staff from rival office blocks form rock bands which go head to head in a fun-filled battle for supremacy... all in just one day!
