Now there's an opening for fate versus hindsight! I've not always had the choices to do what I wanted, but have still had some curve ball opportunities come my way. If I had any regrets, it would be for something where the outcome didn't meet expectation, but that's life!

In 1992 we left our decent freelance TV careers behind and moved to NYC from London, on a total whim with a toddler and no money. If I'd stayed in London my career would have been different but would it have been better? One cannot have regrets. The obstacles are often imagined, so don't overthink it because it's never too late to make a change!
