When to step up as a Producer Director

Added 3 years ago

Hi Everyone.I have been Self Shooting for some time now as an AP on several productions. Mostly short day stints and recurring filming days, so my combined experience could be equated to only 2 months over 2 years. I have worked as a Self Shooting PD with personal clients and productions and feel confident in my shooting abilities. When is the right time to step up as a Self Shooting PD. Is industry training advisable too? Thanks. Gavin Boyd
