Emerging popular factual indie Red Sauce has hired a trio of production management and development staff.

Development producer Jess Mitchell [main picture] oins the Zinc Media label off the back of shows such as Cardiff Productions’ BBC2 series We Are Black And British and Naked’s BBC3 show The Rap Game. She has also held posts at Twofour and BBC Studios.

Over the past year, development senior assistant producer Jack Dargov has been involved in more than 10 commissions for Crackit Productions, including E4’s Send Nudes and a documentary in ITV strand The Social Media Murders, and has also worked at Label 1 and Rumpus Media.

Both will work in Red Sauce’s London office.

Completing the trio is production executive Nikki Nerini-Hobbs, who will be based in Manchester and has already been line-produced Red Sauce’s Channel 5 daytime commission Bargain Loving Brits in the Sun. Her other credits include Wall to Wall’s ITV staple Long Lost Family and BBC2’s Catching Britain’s Killers: the Crimes that Changed Us.

Red Sauce was set up just over a year ago by former BBC factual commissioner Tom Edwards.
