Optomen has expanded the remits of two of its execs as it cements its reality and fact ent credentials with a pair of new senior roles.

Laura Leigh, who has executive produced shows including Netflix show At Home with the Furys [main picture] and ITV2 series Olivia Attwood’s Getting Filthy Rich over the past three years, takes on the permanent role of head of reality.

Her credits also include Netflix’s Matchroom: The Greatest Showmen (Box to Box Films) and The Circle (Studio Lambert) and E4’s Celebs Go Dating (Lime Pictures).

In a statement, Optomen joint chief executives Tina Flintoff and Nick Hornby described Leigh as “incredibly creative, a brilliant storyteller and a gifted showrunner”.

Meanwhile, head of popular factual Charlotte Brookes will oversee a bigger, format-led, portfolio in the new role of head of factual entertainment.

Over five years with All3Media-owned Optomen, she has worked on the likes of BBC1 staple Sort Your Life Out and Netflix’s Crazy Delicious.

Brookes has previously series produced Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special (BBC Studios) and Big Brother’s Bit on the Side (Endemol Shine).
