In terms of hiring it totally depends on timing Jemma. This year we have had a couple but it does change, for pitching we pitch all the time!@JemmaCoutts

What do the panel think of develpment training? Disclaimer ... we run it here at DV Talent!

I think it’s a great idea Matt. We like to do it in house at Pioneer but if there is a scheme like there is for production that’s great. We want people to view it as a career and not just as a stop gap between productions as I think it has been seen in the past @MattBorn

what's in a sizzle tape, hero shots, cliff hangers, etc?

Hi Nii, yes we include the above but the general idea is to show off talent, style and format. I have used hero shots of people, and even animals for natural history shows! @NiiAkita

I’m an AP & Senior Researcher in production. My aim is to move over to development long-term, but I’m struggling to find many roles which don’t demand prior development experience. Do you have any tips or advice for making the move?

Hi, Olivia, my tip would be send in a couple of ideas to show how keen you are, that would definitely make me interested in hiring someone who wants to make that move @OliviaSwash
