It's National Work Life Week and a YouGov survey paints a mixed picture of employers' attitudes to work/life balance.
First, the good news - the pandemic has made it more acceptable to talk about wellbeing in the workplace - half of those polled report a more open attitude, rising to 61% for carers.
BUT 36% of working parents, and 48% of carers, fear that as they return to work, this will fade and they fear taking time off for caring needs will be frowned upon.
And more than one in five - 22% - of working parents hide time off for childcare from their bosses.
Meanwhile, 41% of working mothers say their status as a parent is holding them back from promotion ...
