In this short clip we see Fisheries Biologist Alex Filous tending to a new Fish Aggregation Device (FAD).
This device provides shelter in the open pelagic environment for juvenile fish which then attracts juvenile Tuna and other commercially important fish species. This example is 6 miles off shore of Palau in 1000m of water and was installed a month ago.
