This two-part series follows both patients and surgeons as they go through life threatening brain surgery – an emotional and scientific journey into the organ that makes each of us who we are – a journey that requires all the skill and courage at their disposal to survive. The series was filmed at Southampton Neurological Unit just as the hospital was hit by the first lockdown.
