It’s hard to believe that it’s 25 years since the terrible events of 9/11. To mark the Anniversary, the team at Arrow Media have produced the feature doc, ‘102 Minutes Inside the Towers’, which is going out tonight on the History Channel at 8/7c Stateside, and at 9pm in the UK on Sky History.
The events of 9/11 are the most documented in modern history, so for this film we set ourselves the challenge of trying to present a fresh perspective on the day: keeping the whole story within the Towers; finding contributors who’d never or rarely spoken - from the top of the North Tower to the basement of the south; working with GFX-whizzes ‘Little Shadow’ to recreate what survivors saw but had no cameras to record; and charting the whole over 102’ that mirrored the time taken from the first impact to the collapse of the North Tower.
I feel privileged to have been entrusted with these survivors’ stories band this film, and to have worked alongside such a wonderfully talented team from first to last - much respect to @GerardEvans @OrlaNoonan @MarielleWilkinson @TinaSadler @Ash Potterton
