Hi everyone. I'm Cristiano, new here, so let me do this properly.
For twenty-one years I produced live. Brand activations, festivals, conferences. Most of it in Brazil, some in Spain, Argentina, Uruguay and Ireland. The one people usually ask about is the Nissan hospitality centre at the Rio 2016 Olympics, a whole hotel rebranded for the Games.
Then I moved to London. Twenty-one years of contacts stayed behind, which is a strange thing to do to yourself at this stage of a career. So I'm rebuilding, and this time towards television and commercials, which I'd rather learn properly than pretend I already know.
I also run a small photo and film company here with my business partner, Nathalia. Creative Capture Studio.
What I actually want from this place is people. So a question, if you'll indulge me: if you came into TV from somewhere else, theatre, live events, advertising, another country, how did you make the jump? And what do you wish someone had told you at the start?
