We're back with another educational event on the 29th July at Bectu, this time featuring three top industry professionals from the world of post-production! The presenters will cover editing, foley, sound design and sound mixing, providing the knowledge and techniques that can elevate your filmmaking.

🎞️Nick Arthurs BFE – BAFTA-winning editor and director, with credits including The Witcher, His Dark Materials, A Discovery of Witches and The Alienist. Nick's work demonstrates how editorial decisions shape narrative, character and audience engagement. Discover the power of the edit from one of the industry's most respected storytellers.
🎧 Karo Jędrzejczyk MPSE AMPS – Foley Artist & Supervisor and Head of Foley at Sound Disposition.
With credits including Disney+'s Alice and Steve, BBC's Death in Paradise and the Cannes-premiered Victorian Psycho, Karo will discuss the creative and technical craft of Foley and its impact on storytelling, while utilising a suitcase full of props.
🎚️Andrew Wilson AMPS CAS – BAFTA, RTS and Emmy-nominated Re-Recording Mixer, whose portfolio includes Blue Planet, Planet Earth, Monkey Kingdom and Royal Mob. Andrew brings decades of experience in creating immersive soundtracks for internationally recognised productions. This session will demonstrate how a great sound design and mix transforms a good film into a memorable one.
This event is an opportunity to gain practical insights from industry leaders, ask questions, and connect with filmmakers across directing, producing, writing, editing, VFX, virtual production, sound, cinematography and performance.
There will be the usual networking, elevator pitches and the chance to meet future collaborators and move projects forward.
