“Brazilian director Rodrigo Giannetto, winner of the International Emmy Awards and former director of TV Globo's reality show "No Limite", debuts his new original documentary series and worldwide platform about women "Girls Just Wanna Have", with an international press & guests event at Rich Mix, in London, on July 9, followed by the Brazilian premiere on July 21, at 8 pm, at Cine Belas Artes, in São Paulo.
Created by REAL FILMES in partnership with WE PLAY, "Girls Just Wanna Have" is a multiplatform documentary series about talented women around the world, who tell how their cities, cultures and lifestyles influence their personal and professional trajectories. The launch marks not only the debut of the original documentary series, but also the birth of a worldwide platform dedicated to the female universe. More than bringing together audiovisual content, the platform was designed to connect women through real stories, experiences, conversations, events and initiatives that inform, inspire, support and entertain the international community.
The first season of the project visits places like London, Sicily, Brasilia, Barcelona, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Buenos Aires and New York. After the international premiere in London, the project arrives in Brazil with a special premiere in São Paulo, celebrating the episode dedicated to the federal capital, Brasília. This episode features Brazilian women who represent different cultural, sports and artistic universes:
