Reflecting on an Inspiring Week at MPTS 2026!

I recently traveled from Istanbul to London for my very first Media Production & Technology Show (MPTS) at the iconic Olympia Hall London, and I am still buzzing from the experience! As a first-time attendee, stepping into that massive hall was completely eye-opening.

My goal was to immerse myself in the global production and media landscape—to see how an event of this scale is built, discover which companies are driving the industry forward, and explore the latest tech innovations.

Highlights:

Production Context: Working with Medyascope (free news platform based in Turkey), I kept a close eye on studio innovations. The Canon stand was interesting to see, their studio solutions corner gave me some inspiration for new ideas I can bring back to our team -well there's a bit money issue that needs to be solved though:)

Talk Sessions: I spent time hopping between the Creator Hub, the Broadcast Technology Theatre, and the AI Media Zone, soaking in insights from brilliant industry leaders.

Creative Surprises: Seeing the realistic "nature tech" at the Wild Connect stand was fascinating! As a fixer spending most of the time on the city ground, I would very much love to work on the wildlife ground as an outdoor sports lover.

As for the event, having spent nearly a decade in event planning, managing launches, motivation meetings for big corporate companies with hundreds employees, I can say that MPTS was very well planned starting from the annoucement to the user-friendly registration and flawless entrance process. The location was easy access and I think created pretty enough space to involve the industry leaders and innovators that made networking and knowledge-sharing and partying! Congrats to the whole team. Hope to visit next year.

Besides work, I made sure to enjoy the magic of London. I spent a full day on foot just exploring the incredible architecture, wandering through hidden narrow streets, food and checking out the upcoming tech hub (which in my opinion might be the 2nd Silicon Valley in the future) around King’s Cross. I wrapped up the day stopping by the historic Anchor Bankside for a well-deserved drink by the river. Seeing the Turkish beer brand Efes on the way was a true surprise.

I'm happy that I made this trip, pushed myself out of my comfort zone, and opened my vision to the wider world. Travel is the ultimate teacher in every term.

London, you were incredible. Until next time!
