Thanks to Creative AI for tonight’s brilliant event at Adobe’s offices in East London.
We heard three talks from leading figures in the creative AI space:
🚀 Aaron Hertzmann, Principal Scientist at Adobe Research — Per-Fixation Perspective in Art and Photography
Aaron gave a fascinating talk focused on the challenges of processing perspective, and his work on correcting the differences between what cameras capture and what our brains actually perceive.
🚀 Vivek Veeriah, Research Scientist at Google DeepMind — Generating Creative Chess Puzzles
Vivek delivered an in depth talk on using AI to create chess puzzles worthy of a grandmaster.
🚀 Gabriela Tropia — AI, Film and Digital Necromancy
Gabriela shared brilliant insights into her creative workflow and showcased several of her projects, including one that used generative AI to digitally resurrect experimental filmmaker Maya Deren … carried out with great respect for the late artist’s legacy.
The event wrapped up with generous amounts of pizza and the chance to chat with fellow attendees from across the creative AI community.
A fantastic event to attend, and hugely appreciated.
