Thanks to Music Technology UK and Mindset Ventures Music Tech for a fantastic evening focused on music and AI.

We heard a compelling ‘state of the industry’ talk from music and technology executive Drew Thurlow, followed by a fireside chat between Emmy Award winning composer Lucas Cantor Santiago and Lord Kevin Brennan.

The discussions explored what AI really means for music … from the creative process to the commercial realities reshaping how music is made, monetised, and experienced.

The event also marked the launch of two new books on AI in music:

* Unfinished: The Role of the Artist in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (Lucas Cantor)
* Machine Music: How AI is Transforming Music’s Next Act (Drew Thurlow)

It brought together a great mix of creatives, music industry veterans, investors, and tech companies. The excellent food and drinks were much appreciated, and the event had a great buzz. It was great to be there.🔥🔥🔥🥂🥂
