Great Celebrity Sabotage (ITV) masterclass last night hosted by the Royal Television Society.
The panel shared fascinating insights into how the show was developed, along with the creative challenges behind producing such a multi-layered reality comedy. Pulling off deception at this scale is no small feat, and as a producer, the level of coordination involved is seriously impressive.
I previously worked on a pilot for a wish-granting series at ITV a few years back, where we used similar techniques to help deliver some unforgettable moments. It certainly gave me an appreciation for the ingenuity and precision required to make these ambitious ideas a reality.

There aren’t many new formats that genuinely cut through and appeal to a broad audience - Celebrity Sabotage is definitely one of them.
