Last night’s Audio/Visual event invited TV and Music industry insiders to explore a genuinely intriguing concept: creating real connections between audiences.
Alone Together is an interactive music project by Sound of Fractures … the work of Jamie Reddington, a UK based electronic producer, artist, and educator known for crafting “emotional electronic music” that blends garage, jungle, and breakbeats.
Hosted at H.O.M.E. (House of Music Entertainment), Alone Together combined visual art with an electronic music installation, designed to encourage strangers to connect through shared music and memory.
Jamie has been developing these connection tools in collaboration with students and creative partners and the result was a truly engaging event.
It sparked plenty of meaningful conversations among like minded people, helped along by some generous beers … including the standout Sonic Tonics…Hibiscus & Jalapeño flavour.
This was a prototype: a small scale test event to refine the concept ahead of a full experience later this year.
Thanks to everyone involved in putting this together.
It was a pleasure to experience this original and thought provoking audio/visual project.
