I've been spending time writing down what I've noticed as an agent, having been on that side of the industry for 8 years. What began as a list developed into something more detailed as I delved into what I've experienced in that time. I came into the industry as a scriptwriting graduate with no idea how to put those skills to use. I've since done coverage as a freelancer, a bit of writing and become a script agent. I've now begun to move into producing and am looking to gain more opportunities to develop those skills. So below is an article I wrote with some insights into what a scriptwriting career really looks like from this agent's perspective.
