💡 Introducing the Task Pyramid: Organise Your Way to Meaningful Achievement!

For the past three years, I have been using a Task Pyramid for planning and writing my latest book, The Venice Trap!

This mind tool helped me break down a massive undertaking into manageable steps. Now, I want to share this framework to help others who are struggling to organise their thoughts and achieve something meaningful in their lives.

This visual tool solves the problem of task prioritisation by showing exactly where each task sits in terms of importance and time frame, ensuring your daily efforts (Foundation) feed directly into your bigger goals (Top Tier).

How the Task Pyramid Works:

The tasks are laid out in a pyramid formation across three tiers:

Top Tier - Overall Aim. The furthest time frame period. (e.g., A 3-day task - like writing a chapter).

Binding Tier - The mid-way or final approach tasks. They keep the ball rolling towards the top tier. Middle time frame period. (e.g., 3-hour tasks - writing the next one thousand words.)

Foundation Tier - The essential tasks that get the ball rolling. Shortest time frame period. (e.g., 30-minute tasks - like researching a location or details of products and services used during a certain time period)

If you struggle with task overwhelm or need a clearer path to achieving your personal 'Overall Aim,' this model could be the structure you need!
