I went to my first AI Video hackathon last night. Often hackathons are linked to coders, but this one was a bit different and a really cool idea.

For those that don’t know.. hackathons are basically a competition to come up with an idea.. and prototype it and present it over a few hours, or days.

Prizes are usually at stake.

But the real interest is the ideas that come out of these quick fire brainstorming sessions.

Hosted by VEED, in partnership with Lovable, ElevenLabs, & OpenAi.

Our entry was todo with making re-versions of popular YouTubers videos at the touch of a button in foreign languages.. fully lip synced.

While analysing their videos to find which ones would perform best in alternate languages, selecting the best international platforms and reformatting. All at the touch of a button.

We didn’t win.. because so many good ideas were there.

But it was great fun.

The pizzas and drinks fueling the event were massively appreciated.
